VW Restores One-Owner 1967 Beetle After 560,000 Km

Kathleen Brooks, today with 73 years old, bought the Beetle in December 1966, in the United States.

Since then, the vehicle has become an essential part of his life.

In more than five decades of coexistence, 'Annie' has covered over 560,000 kilometers, an impressive feat for any automobile.

Kathleen has faced great challenges throughout her life, including overcoming cancer three times. Even so, he remained resilient, just like his Beetle.

She worked helping breast cancer patients and found in 'Annie' a symbol of strength and continuity.

“She and I are very similar.

She's old, tired, dented and rusty. But you know what? She keeps on rolling.

The restoration of 'Annie' is a reminder that a car can be much more than a means of transportation.

It can symbolize resilience, memories and emotional bonds.
