Nissan Kicks Play: What Has Changed in the SUV?

In 2025, the Nissan implemented a bold strategy in the Brazilian market by renaming the Nissan Kicks for Kicks Play, preparing the ground for the arrival of the new generation of SUV.

This approach aims to keep the current model in line, offering it as a more affordable option, while the new, more sophisticated version occupies a higher segment.

Kicks Play is available in three versions: Active Plus , Sense It is Advance Plus .

All images show the “Play” emblem on the lower left of the trunk lid, below the model name.

Compared to the 2024 model, the Kicks Play brings dynamic new features such as 17-inch alloy wheels in the Sense version.

Under the hood, the Kicks Play maintains the 1.6 16V engine, which delivers 113 horsepower with ethanol and 110 with gasoline.

Color options include Diamond White, Classic Silver, Graphite Gray, Premium Black and Malbec Red.

Nissan's strategy of renaming the current Kicks to Kicks Play and introducing a new, more sophisticated generation demonstrates the brand's commitment to meeting the demands of the Brazilian market.
