O 1965 Beetle Pickup, affectionately known as “Veríssimo”, carries with him a story that mixes hard work, family tradition and a generous dose of passion for classic cars.
Its trajectory began almost 60 years ago, in 1965, when it left the Volkswagen production line as a Traditional Beetle, ready to run on the streets of Brazil.
However, fate had something special in store for this Beetle, transforming it into a unique rarity.
In the 1980s, the Beetle was acquired by Seu Veríssimo's family, in Curitiba, Parana.
The new owner owned a fire extinguisher company and, to meet delivery needs, decided to modify the car.
The wooden bucket was added, transforming the model into a functional pickup truck.
For 40 years, the Beetle Pickup served the company faithfully, becoming a symbol of effort and innovation.
